Horizontal Scourer

Horizontal Scourer is a pre-cleaning machine designed to remove outer layers, dust, and surface impurities from wheat through mechanical action.

The wheat entering the machine is directly fed into the scouring section. A high-speed rotating steel rotor abrades the surface of the wheat, effectively removing outer coatings and impurities. The paddles mounted on the rotor guide the cleaned wheat toward the outlet.

This process improves the surface quality of the grain, reduces contaminants, and prepares the product for subsequent processing stages.
